What our AEO services include
Our AEO services are structured in three phases: audit, implementation, and monitoring. Each phase is designed to progressively establish and maintain your brand's presence in AI-generated answers across the systems your buyers use.
Phase 1: AI citation audit
The AI citation audit identifies your current position in AI-generated answers for the 20 to 30 most important questions in your category. We test these queries manually across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Gemini.
The audit output tells you: which queries you are being cited in (your current AEO strengths), which queries competitors are dominating (the gap you need to close), which queries have no clear citation winner (first-mover opportunities), and which queries are structurally important but currently uncontested.
- Query mapping: 20–30 highest-value questions your buyers ask AI systems
- Manual testing across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini
- Citation gap analysis: who is winning and with what content
- Opportunity identification: uncontested queries in your category
- Baseline documentation for progress tracking
Phase 2: Content and schema implementation
Implementation is the core of our AEO work. Based on the audit findings, we restructure existing content for higher citation probability and create new AEO-primary content for uncontested opportunities.
- Direct-answer restructuring: move the direct answer to the first 100 words of each page
- FAQ section creation: 5 to 10 schema-marked Q&A pairs at the bottom of each target page
- FAQ schema implementation: JSON-LD FAQPage markup on all target pages
- HowTo schema: implemented on all process and methodology pages
- Organization schema: comprehensive entity markup with sameAs properties linking to GBP, LinkedIn, social profiles
- Article schema: datePublished, author, and publisher markup on all content pages
- New AEO-first pages: dedicated pages targeting the highest-value uncontested queries
Schema markup is the technical signal. Great content without schema is less likely to be cited than slightly worse content with correct schema implementation.
Phase 3: Monthly AEO monitoring
AI search results change continuously. A query where you are being cited today may have a different result next month as AI systems update their indices. Monthly monitoring tracks your citation presence, identifies regression, and flags new opportunities as your content authority builds.
Monitoring is delivered as a monthly report showing citation status across 20 to 30 queries, changes since last month, new opportunities identified, and recommended content or schema actions for the next month.
AEO for specific content types
Different page types require different AEO implementation approaches.
- Service pages: add FAQ schema targeting the top 8 questions prospects ask before engaging you
- Blog posts: restructure opening paragraphs for direct answers, add FAQ sections at end
- About page: add Organization schema with full entity disambiguation
- Case studies: add specific result statistics in a format AI systems can pull as concrete examples
- Comparison pages: use structured comparison tables with clear factual data points
What AEO services do not include
We want to be honest about what AEO can and cannot achieve. AEO services optimize your content structure and technical signals to maximize citation probability — but there is no guaranteed citation rate. AI systems make citation decisions based on factors that are not fully transparent, and they change regularly.
AEO is a long-term brand authority play, not a quick win. The same way that SEO compounds over 6 to 12 months, AEO builds over time as your content is indexed, tested, and recognized by AI systems as authoritative. The businesses that invest earliest build the most durable AI search presence.
